We are not programmers who hire Engineers like most CBT providers. In fact, we are not a company of Engineers who hire programmers either. HPi has developed a "base program" which takes the text and graphics assembled by a trainer and converts it into a training package automatically. No programmer is required although there are some specialist engineers who create animations in places if really detailed instruction is required on the odd page.
As a result All the training packages can be written and assembled
by the Engineers giving the training. These authors have a long working experience
in their respective fields. As proof of this, HPi Verification Services is accredited
as a Competent Person by UKAS for
UK Pressure and Lifting regulations.
Recognition is not just limited to the UK: HPi VS is also a Notified Body (appointed
Certifier) for various EU Directives.
What do these accreditations mean for CBT users? It means that, should the worst come to the worst, an employer can demonstrate in court that not only have they trained the individual, but the training provided is demonstrably accurate with respect to statutory obligations and industry best practice.
